They must keep their true identities a secret when they are discovered by an 8-year-old fan of science fiction, who thinks their spaceship -- which landed in a yard-sale box -- is a toy that he hangs in his room alongside other toy spacecraft and stars. Each day the Floogals surreptitiously explore the household to find out about the peculiar behavior of the "hoomans" and their belongings as part of their mission. By the end of each episode, they compile a report about their latest findings, which they send back to Floog.
