The Prisoner (known only as Number Six) is a former government agent who abruptly resigns from his job and has been imprisoned in a beautiful and charming-yet-bizarre and enigmatic community -- a mysterious seaside "village" that is isolated from the mainland by mountains and the sea. Presumably wanted for the top-secret information he knows, Number Six is hunted, yet thwarts his captors at every turn. However, he's still trapped in the village by floating, glowing "rovers," mysterious, balloonlike devices that capture those who try to escape.

This reinterpretation of the hit British cult series from the 1960s stars Jim Caviezel as a man trapped in a foreign world without any knowledge of how he got there. As he begins the acclimation process, "Number Six," as he's known, discovers others just like him -- inhabitants identified by numbers and having no memory of any prior life. They're also under constant surveillance. Trusting no one, Six is driven to find the truth behind "The Village," and more importantly how to escape.
This series is based on the adventures of Jamie Sommers, who almost dies while sky diving. She is rebuilt bionically, just like her former fiance, Steve Austin (the six million dollar man himself). Grateful for being saved, Jamie agrees to work for the government and puts her bionic skills to work on dangerous missions.

Award-winning writer and producer Frank Spotnitz ("The X-Files") is behind this eight-part suspense thriller with an international espionage story line. Melissa George stars as Sam Hunter, an operative for an elite private intelligence firm who survives an attempt on her life that may have been orchestrated by members of her own team. She goes into hiding to regroup and recover from her injuries, returning to the firm unannounced a year later. Her co-workers, needless to say, are surprised to see her, especially her colleague -- and secret lover -- Aidan Marsh, and her bosses, Rupert Keel and Deacon Crane, who are suspicious of Hunter's motives. But Keel and Crane need their best agent for important assignments. Hunter, meanwhile, isn't sure who she can trust, but she's positive someone wants her dead.
