"Shahs of Sunset" follows some Persian-American friends in Los Angeles who try to juggle their active social lives and careers while also balancing the demands of their families and traditions. The socialites have busy dating lives and are prominent in the party scene, but they seek approval from their families as they face pressure to settle down and marry within the community. The difference with this show is that all of the women featured are either doctors themselves or the wives of doctors. Cameras follow the ladies as they try to juggle their careers with family lives and their social calendars. "Million Dollar Listing" has showcased some of the most luxurious homes in Los Angeles. The franchise now heads east with "Million Dollar Listing New York," featuring relentless real estate agents in Manhattan and their intertwining lives as each agent fights for his share of the market. The agents deal with demanding clients as they earn a living selling some of New York's hottest real estate. Timber Creek Lodge is a luxurious ski resort with a staff of hardworking and attractive folks. The hoteliers live in tight quarters as they deal with the two issues that are at the heart of many reality shows -- personal relationships and their jobs, which entail catering to the every whim of the high-class vacationers who visit the lodge. The series showcases the on- and off-duty activities of the mountain retreat's staff, which includes a manager, VIP hosts, personal chef, housekeepers and servers.
