People will spend money for an admission ticket to walk through a haunted house attraction, but would those people embrace the idea of a haunted house if the scary domicile was their own? "My Haunted House" tells of owners who say their homes have ghosts. Interviews with those who have experienced paranormal activity -- coupled with dramatic re-enactments -- bring the spooky stories to life in each of the hourlong episodes, which include two stories of such cohabitation with spirits.

People often think that ghosts and other spirits live in and "haunt" buildings. But people don't usually think the same thing about objects like paintings, jewelry and dolls. But the Zaffis family, led by dad John, not only thinks that ghosts can inhabit such objects, they collect what they think are paranormal objects. John Zaffis is a paranormal investigator who has been asked to consult on hauntings for nearly four decades. Through the years, he has amassed thousands of possessed objects that he keeps in his bizarre museum, where visitors report feeling an evil presence upon entering the building. Assisting John on his investigations are his children, Chris and Aimee. Also along for the (potentially scary) ride are tech specialist Brian Cano, who has been fascinated by the paranormal since he was young, and an additional psychic investigator or two.

At the episode's end DiSchiavi and Allan share with the property owner what they discover, and it often points to an undeniable conclusion.

Paranormal investigator Zak Bagans, star of Travel Channel's "Ghost Adventures," has collected macabre objects from around the world in attempts to prove the existence of the supernatural. The items believed to possess negative energy and evil attachments find a permanent home in Bagans' downtown Las Vegas museum. "Deadly Possessions" features some of the museum's most notorious objects, including killer doll Robert from the "Chucky" films, and a secret possession said to be involved in the death of actress Natalie Wood. Bagans interviews the owners, who share stories of how the objects have terrorized them, and helps them solve their "attachment."
Some of the world's most notorious murders are the subject of "It Takes a Killer," which investigates the crimes from the perspective of the killers, trying to get inside their minds and determine their motives. Leading homicide investigators and experts from such agencies as the FBI and Scotland Yard take a look at the evidence pulled from crime scenes and profile the killer's behavior to try to piece together the details of each murder, explaining when, why and how each criminal committed the crime. For the wannabe detectives watching the show, the experts also reveal how the crime was solved -- which often requires authorities to think like a killer.
