Disney has featured many princesses in its TV shows and movies through the years -- but never a little girl princess. Until now. This animated series features Sofia, an ordinary girl who becomes a princess overnight when her mom marries the king. The adventurous young girl, first introduced in the 2012 TV movie "Sofia the First: Once Upon a Princess," must learn how to adjust to royal life. Offering Sofia words of wisdom are classic princesses -- including Ariel, Belle and Jasmine -- who make special appearances as they help advise the youngster during her transition to royalty. Everyone is familiar with the story of "Goldilocks and the Three Bears," but there's never been a follow-up that lets people know what happened after Goldilocks found the porridge that was just right. "Goldie and Bear" fixes that by reuniting the girl with Bear as they begin a new, unexpected friendship. Along with their friends and neighbors -- who are all taken from popular storybook tales -- Goldie and Bear seek out fun and adventures, which include helping Jack and Jill get up that infamous hill and rescuing Humpty Dumpty after his great fall. While the episodes might be filled with fairy-tale characters, they provide valuable real-life lessons for children, including how to develop friendships.

Their goal is to make sure the town remains the friendliest in the West, and Callie is always ready to aid her fellow townspeople and guide them into making the right choices to help the cause. Each episode includes two original songs that enhance the story being told. Having good morals, manners and social ethics are some of what the series aims to teach young viewers.
