Better known as Ricky Gervais' sidekick ("Extras," "Life's Too Short," "The Ricky Gervais Show"), Stephen Merchant stars in his first comedy series lead role, portraying awkward web designer Stuart, an Englishman who relocates to Los Angeles in search of sunshine, VIP parties and maybe even the woman of his dreams. Stuart is able to find a lot of sunshine, but his romantic aspirations far outreach his looks or appeal. Full of charm -- and desperation -- the gawky expat doggedly hits the glitzy LA nightlife with pals Wade, who reluctantly re-enters the dating world after a separation from his wife, and Kives, a paraplegic who uses his disability to his advantage in picking up women. Christine Woods co-stars as an unsuccessful actress living in Stuart's guest house.

This offbeat comedy series stars Jason Schwartzman as young writer Jonathan Ames, who turns his fantasies culled from reading suspense novels into a moonlighting stint as a private detective in Brooklyn, N.Y. As he begins working cases, though, Jonathan finds his crumbling personal life getting in the way of his clients' expectations, not to mention his needy boss, magazine editor George Christopher, interfering with his new career. The risk of World War III is real, thanks to a paranoid Pakistan army general who gains control of the country and its formidable nuclear arsenal. The global crisis sets into motion a risky plan that entangles three disparate, desperate Americans -- womanizing, often inebriated Secretary of State Walter Larson, lowly Foreign Service officer Alex Talbot, and supreme yet compromised Navy fighter pilot Zeke Tilson. Co-executive produced by Jerry Weintraub, Roberto Benabib and Jay Roach, the dark comedy series stars Tim Robbins ("Mystic River") as Larson, Jack Black ("School of Rock") as Talbot, and Pablo Schreiber ("The Wire") as Tilson, with additional cast members including Aasif Mandvi, Maribeth Monroe, Eric Ladin, Esai Morales and Carla Gugino.
Warwick Davis is an actor who, as a dwarf, counts among his most famous roles playing the title character in the "Leprechaun" film series. In this mockumentary series, created by Ricky Gervais and Stephen Merchant, Davis stars as a fictionalized version of himself whose career is in a downward spiral. As if that's not bad enough, he also has a massive tax bill caused by his useless accountant and a wife who is divorcing him. As a result, he opens his doors to a film crew, which films him 24 hours a day, seven days a week, in an attempt to get back on top. The film crew captures Warwick's every move as he tries to maintain his pride in unusual situations. Cameos by celebrities, including Gervais, Merchant, Johnny Depp and Steve Carell, are featured in many episodes.
