The focus is on three detectives working in Atlanta and Cincinnati, with cameras recording their relentless determination to bring closure to victims' families by pursuing the truth and putting the guilty behind bars. The detectives are Summer Benton, a five-year veteran of the Atlanta Police Department's homicide division; Jenny Luke, who has solved 70 cases for the city of Cincinnati; and Jennifer Mitsch, a member of the Cincinnati Police Department for 16 years, the last eight in homicide.
