For almost as long as there has been television, there's been "Meet the Press." The hourlong Sunday morning public affairs program has featured interviews with countless U.S. and world leaders, and has reviewed, analyzed and discussed the news of the week -- all while looking toward the week ahead.
Anchored by Erin Burnett, "OutFront" stays ahead of the headlines, providing objective reporting on the day's top issues. The Monday to Friday nightly news program features compelling newsmaker interviews, provides lively debates and offers in-depth analysis of the latest news and global headlines. "I want people to say that our show is smart. I want our show to be authentic," Burnett says. "I want our show to have courage."

On Saturdays and Sundays, Fredricka Whitfield anchors "CNN Newsroom" from Atlanta. Seamlessly transitioning between political news and the top stories of the day, Whitfield covers the latest political stories by featuring interviews with lawmakers and members of the current administration paired with partisan and neutral panels of top political analysts and pundits. CNN correspondents stationed across the globe report on the day's news, adding context and color to top stories.
"Reliable Sources" with Brian Stelter examines the media world -- telling the story behind the story -- how news and pop culture get made. Discussions revolve around media fairness and objectivity, with panels consisting of journalists from top television, digital and print news organizations. Regularly featured special one-on-one interviews with major media figures are also part of the Sunday morning show.

"Fareed Zakaria GPS" was launched in 2008 and each week's program airs worldwide on CNN, from New York or other locations around the world. Joining him are guests that frequently include political and legal analysts.
After airing several different programs in this time slot in recent years, CNN attempts to solidify its prime-time schedule by moving Chris Cuomo to the toughest hour in cable news. Cuomo, the former co-anchor of CNN's morning show "New Day," eschews panel discussions in favor of in-depth one-on-one interviews that test politicians and newsmakers on their positions. He also analyzes the news of the day and presents breaking news. Described by one publication as "America's toughest news anchor," Cuomo wants his show to be known as one that debates with decency. "The need is clear," he says. "Hopefully we help fill it."
