Executive producers Peter Berg and Sarah Aubrey partner once again with HBO Sports for an innovative cinema verite documentary series that examines complex sports themes. Each installment spotlights a topic and focuses on its larger impact outside of sports. Following the documentaries are in-depth, round-table discussions of the issues with the filmmakers, subjects and other guests. Emmy nominee Berg ("Friday Night Lights") moderates the panel discussions. Berg also produced the nonfiction sports series "On Freddie Roach" for HBO in 2012.
