Renowned U.K. antiques dealer Drew Pritchard is always looking for new pieces, and he has no problem scouring the countryside to replenish his collection. On this series, a spinoff of "Salvage Hunters," Drew teams with automotive guru Paul Cowland to find, buy, fix up and sell classic cars and retro motorcycles. Drew's trained eye and deal-making skills combine with Paul's extensive mechanical knowledge and business acumen to power this venture. Along the way Drew also seeks out rare motoring memorabilia.

Car fanatic Philip Glenister teams with designer Ant Anstead on a mission to find classic cars in not-so-classic shape, fix them up and then auction them off. Glenister finds vehicles that he can get for the right price and brings them into the shop for Anstead to restore. Since Glenister gets to know each seller during the bargaining process, he uses stories about the car as inspiration to help inform Anstead's overhaul. After the front-to-back transformation is complete, the guys take the car for a spin. At the end of the season, the finished cars are sent to a public auction to see if all of the hard work pays off.

"Joyride" features four such celebrities -- rapper T-Pain, NASCAR driver Brian Vickers, actress Mischa Barton and actor Oliver Trevena -- who go on a quest to find the best cars in a variety of categories. The new venture, as detailed in the reality series "Gear Dogs," brings together auto mechanics and hobbyists who are willing to test their skills customizing rides like a '67 Plymouth Belvedere, 1980 Jeep Honcho, and a 1956 Chevy Nomad. The candidates, aka "Dogs," use Nate's space, equipment and know-how in exchange for him receiving a cut of the profits after the finished cars are sold. Beyond Nate taking a chance with unfamiliar personnel, can he balance two shops and turn the Doghouse into a success?

Dan Short fell in love with cars when he first laid eyes on a 1967 Camaro. He bought a used model as a teenager, but because he couldn't pay someone else to restore it, he learned how to do the work himself. After a stint in the Army, Short decided to make his passion for classic cars his life's work, and FantomWorks was born. Today the Norfolk, Va., company is the largest auto restoration shop in the U.S., and this reality series shows how Short and his team meticulously refurbish some of America's favorite rides. Drama ensues in the form of personality clashes, cost overruns, irate customers and other issues, which are compounded by Short's reputation as a straight shooter who won't accept substandard results.

They may think their classic cars are priceless, but owners get a true sense of what their rides are worth in this series. TV personality and self-professed big-time "car dork" Dennis Pittsenbarger hosts, joined by a team of professional appraisers including Randy Carlson, Addison Brown, Nick Smith and Todd Wertman, who provide the critical, expert eyes auto enthusiasts need to properly determine value. Whether it's a clunker or a classic, what it's worth may be shocking. Fueled in part by the proliferation of reality shows covering the collector-car industry, competition in the U.S. to locate and buy vintage automobiles is stiffer than ever. So why not venture outside the States and see what other countries have to offer in this trade? That's what Antonio Brunet and Yusuf Johnson have done, and that's chronicled in "Chrome Underground." Brunet -- the founder of Austin-based Motoreum, which bills itself as Texas' premier classic-car dealer -- and Johnson go where other collectors avoid -- lawless countries. The payoff can be huge, but so are the risks. The guys are targets for thieves because they carry lots of cash, and they are making dangerous deals in places they barely understand. Also, many of the vehicles haven't been driven for decades, and chances of them breaking down in gang-controlled areas are high.
After retiring from his perch atop the late-night TV ratings in 2014, comedian Jay Leno has more time to partake in one of his passions: collecting cars. That is the focus of "Jay Leno's Garage," which showcases the "Tonight Show" veteran's journey throughout America as he searches for unique rides and the stories behind them. Leno explores different aspects of automobiles, including the history of iconic brands, testing supercars, checking out the latest innovations, and even offering consumer advice. He also talks with fellow gearheads, including celebrities, to learn about their collections. Leno says cars, to him, are "kinetic artwork" -- rather than being stagnant, it is art that is "rolling down the highway."
