TLC throws out traditional ways of meeting someone and welcomes awkward, sometimes steamy moments that can quickly create emotional and physical sparks. On "Love at First Kiss," an individual goes beyond his or her comfort zone to kiss a total stranger, without introduction, to determine if one kiss can lead to a date in the real world and maybe even a long-term relationship. With unexpected outcomes produced by every smooch, viewers find out how far singles go to find true love.

Love just might be blink on this limited series, which encourages women to focus on getting to know potential mates before seeing what they look like. On each episode, a bachelorette meets three bachelors via a POV camera strapped to the men's chests. She sees everything the men do and can talk directly to them, but neither party sees what the other person looks like. The potential matches highlight their individuality and work hard -- from introducing her to their parents to taking her to work -- to prove that they are the right person for her. At the end of the day, the lady decides who has won her over based solely on lifestyle, personality and emotional chemistry. She then meets all three men face to face, it's finally revealed to her which man she picked, and the new couple goes on a date to see if they truly do connect. Actress Christine Lakin ("Step by Step") hosts.
There's no shortage of dating shows on cable, so shows need a unique aspect to stand out from the crowd. "Driven to Love" has that in the form of a "tricked-out love taxi," to use the network's term for the vehicle. Host Ray J serves as the driver as he helps a single person find love through five potential dates while cruising along the streets of New York City. Ray J also serves as the dater's wingman, offering advice and choosing prospective mates for the romantic meetings that happen both inside and outside the vehicle. But it's ultimately up to the dater to decide which potential suitors to give a chance. When Ray J drives up to a potential date, the single decides whether to drive past, let the suitor into the vehicle, or even kick out the current mate to let in the new one. In the end, the contestant chooses one mate with whom to go on a romantic getaway.
Emmy Award winner Andy Cohen hosts a one-hour reboot of the original dating show that features single men and women from all walks of life searching for romance. In the unscripted series, singles are followed on three blind dates to see if a match can be made. The contestants then open up about their experiences in front of a live studio audience. Cohen adds his personal brand of cheeky fun and provocative humor as the contestants reveal their impressions of their dates and whether a connection has been made.

"Love is patient, love is kind," begins the famous Bible verse. It also says that love protects, trusts, hopes and perseveres. Those attributes and more are highlighted in the TLC series "Strange Love." The network says it profiles people who are living proof that there is someone for everyone -- even if that someone is a bit out of the ordinary. Exploring romantic, provocative and sometimes shocking relationships, episodes introduce a full-time Santa Claus looking for Mrs. Claus; a woman who needs a wedding dress to fit her 99-inch hips; a corset-wearing lady whose waist measures 15 inches; and more.

After helping modernize women's wardrobes as co-host of "What Not to Wear" for nine seasons, fashion consultant Clinton Kelly is back performing similar duties on TLC's "Love at First Swipe." Teamed with dating guru Devyn Simone, who was a cast member on Season 21 of "The Real World," Kelly counsels women whose disastrous online profiles -- from oversexed photos to depressing status updates -- just aren't clicking. To get them back in the dating game, Clinton takes each lady for a style makeover that better represents her personality, and Devyn gives her an online dating tutorial complete with new photos and an updated profile. The co-hosts then share the new and improved profile with 100 potential mates, and the woman chooses a date from one of the men who liked her profile.
