The Florida Everglades' Big Cypress Swamp, under the governance of people of the Seminole tribe, is home to more than 1,600 animals that run wild on thousands of acres. The Billie Swamp Safari offers visitors a chance to come face to face with the animals, ranging from ostriches and bison to venomous snakes and raccoons. The goal -- in line with Native Americans' love of harmony with nature -- is to immerse the visitors in the wild. But these close encounters sometimes lead to danger ... for both the people and the wildlife. The park's director, Ed Woods, and his tough team of self-described "swamp men" patrol the land to move animals out of dangerous situations and rescue animals in need.

Some people like to hop in a car to take a road trip across America, visiting as many landmarks as possible along the way. Since such a trek can take a while to complete, taking a flight across America might be a better option for some people. "Aerial America" takes viewers on such a flight, offering rare looks at some of the nation's best-loved landmarks from high in the sky. Cameras capture the history and pageantry of America as they zoom over busy cityscapes and quiet, rural lands. Many episodes focus on a specific state, showcasing highlights of the state's beauty, while others revolve around themes such as the best small towns and natural wonders found in the country.
As one of the lead designers for nine seasons on ABC's Emmy-winning "Extreme Makeover: Home Edition," Paul DiMeo encountered his share of next-to-impossible construction projects. So building wilderness retreats is a walk in the park by comparison, right? Not so fast. Paulie, as he is known, and master fabricator Pat "Tuffy" Bakaitis are partners in a cabin design and construction business called Cabin Kings, and in "Building Wild," the duo create unbelievable rustic getaways, transforming discarded materials into eye-catching contraptions and overcoming outrageous building challenges along the way. In each episode, Paulie and Tuffy provide the big ideas and construction know-how to a client looking to build a backwoods paradise on a challenging property. To keep costs low, the landowners supply some materials, bring together a workforce of friends and family and agree to do the entire build in one week.

As the son of celebrity chef Lidia Bastianich, being a restaurateur is in Joe Bastianich's blood. He has opened a number of restaurants. Now he's using his expertise -- and cash -- to back new eateries. Joe and Texas-based chef Tim Love invest their money in concepts they believe have potential to succeed. In each episode two teams get a chance to pitch ideas to Joe and Tim, who choose which has the better concept. The selected one gets a tryout with three assets: keys to an L.A. establishment, 36 hours, and $7,500. The team uses them to test their dream in a pop-up restaurant, to devise a branding campaign, and to write a business plan -- under the scrutiny of a culinary consultant. Results of the 36-hour shot determine whether the entrepreneurs will get the backing.
