After committing terrible crimes, these criminals turn to the road and do everything they can to evade the police -- and some die trying. Each episode of "Cuff Me if You Can" tells the true story of a criminal on the run that would otherwise never be told. Every criminal featured is unable to go to the media with their tale, whether he or she died during the escapades meant to free them or is being contained in a jail whose rules don't allow media access. Using first-person narration, vivid re-enactments and interviews with the families and the law enforcement officers involved, "Cuff Me if You Can" follows these criminals from crime to capture.

As an executive producer on "The Shield" and the creator of "Sons of Anarchy," Kurt Sutter has spent a good part of his adulthood writing about fictitious anti-heroes, the kind of guys he became fascinated with while relentlessly watching TV as a kid. "We all love the guys in black," he says. Spearheaded by Sutter's insight, "Outlaw Empires" presents stories of real American outlaws -- gangs and families who have ruled the streets with a heavy hand and without sympathy. Each hourlong episode tells the complete history of a notorious crime ring, from the Crips in Los Angeles to biker gangs to the Italian Mafia and the Aryan Brotherhood, replete with commentary from members who lived the outlaw life.
