After substance abuse and insanely self-destructive and obnoxious behavior throw a knuckle ball at his Major League Baseball career, former pitcher Kenny Powers retreats to his North Carolina hometown, where he takes a job teaching physical education at the middle school he once attended. But another chance at potential big league stardom -- or so he thinks -- takes Kenny "down Mexico way," where he thrills the locals as only he can before he returns to the U.S. a changed man. Or is he? The colorful and frequently profane sitcom comes from executive producers Will Ferrell and Adam McKay, among others, and stars Danny McBride ("Tropic Thunder").

Putting their mutual hate aside, the bitter antagonists form an unholy alliance to bring down the outsider by any means necessary.
Based on Will Ferrell and Adam McKay's popular website, this half-hour sketch comedy series provides an anything-goes forum for young actors, comics and writers to continue developing their craft, and features special guest stars in roles that aim to push the envelope.

Jesse, the eldest of the three grown Gemstone siblings, looks to lead in his father's footsteps, but finds his past sins jeopardizing the family ministry. Next in line comes middle sister Judy, who secretly lives with her fiancé and dreams of escaping the Gemstone compound. As the family battles numerous threats to their renowned religious empire, they continue to spread the good word... and make a solid buck doing so.
