Kind-hearted Mikey Kudo is an ambitious seventh-grader who, along with his best friends, is suddenly transported into the mysterious Digital World, which is inhabited by creatures known as Digimon. He strives to live by his life's motto, "never turn your back on anyone," as he does whatever it takes to save the land and its residents. But, as Mikey learns along the way, not all Digimon are good, for they fight one another for control of their world.
