Two teams -- one orange, one green -- each with two kids compete in challenges that test their skill, speed and sounds. Each team is given a mindless task in which the ultimate goal is to refrain from making too much noise. The progress of their noisemaking is recorded on the Noise-O-Meter, and they are awarded points based on this. If the Noise-O-Meter reaches the top, the challenge is deemed a forfeit and no points are awarded. There are three rounds, each having a different challenge in which both teams take a turn at performing the exact same task. Rounds one and two see individuals facing each other, while the third round is team based. The team with the most points at the end gets a chance at winning five prizes plus a $5,000 cash prize.

After several cases are opened, the player is tempted by the Banker to accept an offer of cash in exchange for not continuing the game and possibly winning a larger sum of money.
