"truTV Top Funniest" is a countdown show of outrageous videos filmed in the U.S. Viral clips, home movies, pranks, surveillance videos, event footage and news bloopers are all part of the side-splitting action. Each episode features a different theme, like "Funny Fails" and "Ridiculous Moments."
Brainless bad guys, moronic motorists, senseless sportsmen, ridiculous risk-takers ... they're all featured in this collection of police and store surveillance videos, with the added bonus, if you can call it that, of commentary provided by such fallen stars as Danny Bonaduce, Todd Bridges, Leif Garrett and Tonya Harding.
Comics April Richardson and Chris Fairbanks host this half-hour series that applauds (wink, wink) how hard some people, places and things try to succeed despite ultimately failing. Actors, comedians and improvisation artists are digitally inserted into viral videos to comment on and congratulate people for being brave and ingenious in coming oh so close to victory. But, claims truTV, " `Almost Genius' doesn't mock, because as everyone knows, almost is awesome... and genius."
Selling real estate in the Los Angeles area can be a glamorous job, as "Million Dollar Listing" proves. The show follows young real estate agents as they try to sell high-end properties in the Los Angeles area, including Beverly Hills and Malibu. The agents use their charm, good looks and business savvy to stay on top of the competitive heap in the real estate market. Will a Los Angeles housing slump make it more difficult for the agents to sell their properties?
It's a story tailor-made for a reality-TV series: "E! News" anchor Giuliana DePandi and first "Apprentice" winner Bill Rancic met during an interview, were engaged in 2006 and married the next year. So, of course, Style, E!'s sister network, ordered a series featuring the celebrity couple. "Giuliana & Bill" features the couple as they're seen navigating their not-quite-ideal relationship with many phone calls and flights, as he runs businesses in Chicago and she works in Los Angeles. Although he eventually moves out west to be with his wife in the City of Angels.
