In this social experiment, four couples at a crossroad in their relationship put their love to the test by giving "single life" a try. On the Hawaiian island of Maui, they'll take a break from each other while living in separate houses with sexy singles to discover if there is another partner with whom they are more compatible. In the end, will the couples leave together? Will they leave with one of the island's "tempters"? Or will they break up and go home alone? Whatever the outcome, there should be plenty of drama along the way.
Emmy Award winner Andy Cohen hosts a one-hour reboot of the original dating show that features single men and women from all walks of life searching for romance. In the unscripted series, singles are followed on three blind dates to see if a match can be made. The contestants then open up about their experiences in front of a live studio audience. Cohen adds his personal brand of cheeky fun and provocative humor as the contestants reveal their impressions of their dates and whether a connection has been made.
Patti Stanger has earned her "Millionaire Matchmaker" nickname (also the title of her previous show) through the years she has spent setting up wealthy people through her Millionaire's Club dating service, a practice she continues on this show. In each episode, two wealthy clients check into a luxury property in Southern California, where they unwittingly begin their "love lesson" through custom challenges designed by Stanger and her crew. Stanger then gives her feedback -- which can be brutally honest at times -- in one-on-one sessions with the daters, during which she gives an in-depth review of the surprise date. Each client is then introduced to the matches chosen by Patti, with the hope that one of them will be "the one." Stanger's team includes former beauty queen Candace, who has a psychology degree and is the top associate in Stanger's organization.
