Tom is a boy with the power of movement magic -- tree fu -- which can transform him into a small-but-mighty superhero. As a superhero, he travels to Treetopolis, an enchanted kingdom -- really a tree in his backyard. It is in that magic place that Tom meets his friends: his sidekick Twigs, an energetic acorn sprite, an eccentric inventor Zigzoo, and others. Tom, Twigs and the gang go on action-filled adventures that usually encounter trouble, disaster or near catastrophe. When things get out of control, Tom relies on viewers to help save the day by performing tree fu moves of their own and passing their magic through the TV screen.

From their "Octopod" home base, a team of undersea explorers is always ready to dive into action to explore new underwater worlds, rescue amazing sea creatures and protect the ocean. The group is led by Captain Barnacles the bear, and also includes Kwazii the kitten, Peso the penguin, Dr. Shellington the sea otter, Dashi the dog, Tweak the bunny, Professor Inkling the octopus and Tunip the `vegimal' (part vegetable, part animal). The animated series, geared toward preschoolers, is based on a book series of the same name.

This cartoon for preschoolers takes two elements young children often find fascinating -- mythical animals and monster trucks -- and combines them to create a different kind of action hero. The mechanicals are comprised of Rex, Unicorn, Komodo, Sasquatch and Mouse, five friends with the power to transform themselves into various shapes, which comes in handy considering the world in which they inhabit is also a "snap-together-take-apart" kind of place. Each episode, the mysterious Island Owl appears to send the team on a specific mission. It doesn't take long for the Animal Mechanicals (and young viewers) to then decide who among them is best suited to tackle each of the many challenges that pop up during their adventures.

The remote-controlled vehicles -- Zack, Lily, Rex and Axle -- take part in adventures that see them crossing streams, building dams and exploring meadows. Although they may be small objects in a big world, the friends approach every potential problem with enthusiasm and use their mantra, "try, try again," to overcome any obstacle that is put in front of them.
