Orlando City SC is a professional men's soccer club based in Orlando, Florida, that competes in Major League Soccer, in the highest tier of the United States soccer league system. Owned by Zygi, Leonard, and Mark Wilf, the club is a member of MLS's Eastern Conference, and is the sister club of the National Women's Soccer League's Orlando Pride and MLS Next Pro's Orlando City B. It plays its home games in Downtown Orlando at Inter&Co Stadium, which is owned and operated by the club.
Originally a United Soccer League club, Orlando City was founded in 2008 by Stoke City F.C. board member Phil Rawlins as Austin Aztex FC. Amid the USL–NASL war in 2010, Rawlins bought the franchise rights of an Orlando-based club that failed to field a team into the USL, and moved the Aztex to Orlando, becoming Orlando City SC. It played as a charter member of the USL Pro, dominating the league in its first four seasons with three Commissioner's Cup wins and two Championship wins. The victories led to a successful bid to enter the MLS, debuting in its 2015 season alongside New York City FC, and selling their USL franchise rights to Louisville City FC.
