This spinoff series of Disney XD favorites "Lab Rats" and "Mighty Med" brings together characters from the two sci-fi shows to battle common enemies. After the Mighty Med hospital has been destroyed by supervillains, Adam and Leo volunteer to oversee the students at Davenport's Bionic Academy. That allows Kaz, Oliver and Skylar to team up with Chase and Bree to form a powerful force that combines bionic heroes and superheroes. Together, they make it their mission to track down the villains, hoping to rid the world of them and keep things safe for everybody.

Teenage best friends Kaz and Oliver get the thrill of a lifetime when they land after-school jobs at Mighty Med, a secret hospital for superheroes as well as sci-fi and fantasy characters, where they discover that their favorite characters are not only real but living among them. As ordinary boys, known as "normos" at the hospital, Kaz and Oliver must learn how to make their way through the normal and the secret worlds they are now a part of. There to help them with that task are superhero Skylar Storm and Alan, the nephew of Mighty Med's chief of staff. In the end they'll have to use their friendship and superhero knowledge in order to become heroes themselves by saving the people who save people.

Things change, though, when a thumb injury brings his gaming career to a screeching halt, a setback that forces him out of the gaming circuit and into a public high school for the first time. The kids aren't used to being in the great outdoors, so cheerful head counselor Lou and camp heartthrob Xander help the siblings adjust to being at camp and show them the ropes of outdoor life. While Emma and Ravi become counselors in training, learning how to be responsible role models for younger campers, Zuri becomes friends with a couple of the kids at the camp, studious Tiffany and compulsive liar Jorge. Together, the Ross children settle into their new lives as they adapt to their summer home away from home.
When high school student Ryan Walker discovers he has the ability to control technology with his mind, he awakens 150-foot robot MECH-X4 and is able to control every move the android makes. The situation gets to be too much for Ryan to handle on his own, though, when another monster starts attacking the school. That's when Ryan recruits older brother Mark and friends Harris and Spyder to help operate MECH-X4's defense system while he pilots the robot. Together, the haphazardly assembled team of heroes must quickly learn to work together in order to save the school -- and, ultimately, the world -- from being destroyed. That's a lot of pressure to put on some teenagers.
