The iconic home improvement reality series returns after an eight-year hiatus. New host actor Jesse Tyler Ferguson will help deserving families make the renovations they need to improve their lives. He'll be joined by HGTV stars Breegan Jane, Carrie Locklyn and Darren Keefe to help with the amazing home transformations along with the help of neighbors, local building experts, and celebrity guests. Celebrity appearances include Anthony Anderson, Derek Hough, LeAnn Rimes, and the show's original host, Ty Pennington.

Chip and Joanna Gaines own and operate Magnolia Homes, a remodeling and design business in Waco, Texas, and "Fixer Upper" shows the process by which the couple turn dilapidated but potential-rich houses into showplaces that are helping revitalize whole neighborhoods throughout central Texas. Chip manages the construction and realty side of Magnolia and Joanna is the lead designer. They also act as part-time counselors to clients who can't see a structure's beauty beyond the blemishes. Combined, Chip and Joanna save homes that look hopeless, renovating the imperfect, and revealing them as what they were always intended to be.

TLC revamps the home design series that originally aired on the network from 2002 to 2006. Hosted by Ananda Lewis, "While You Were Out" now features an all-star cast of designers from both TLC and HGTV, including Carter Oosterhouse, Sabrina Soto, Ty Pennington, Vern Yip, Hilary Farr, Nicole Curtis and Vanilla Ice. Given a $10,000 budget, each set of designers and carpenters design one room in neighboring houses after the homeowner sends their significant other on a weekend getaway. The ultimate surprise reveal culminates each episode upon their return. One home includes TLC designers and the other, HGTV designers.
Mother-daughter design duo Tish and Brandi Cyrus have honed their interior-design abilities in their own homes over the years, and they now feel that they have the talent to make a business out of it. They head out to the streets of their hometown of Nashville to share their skills with friends and word-of-mouth clients. In each episode, Tish and Brandi each present a competing idea, with a given budget, to a client for a room that needs a design re-do. After the client selects one of the plans, the family pair must work together to turn the chosen vision into a reality. Facing decor dilemmas and makeover malfunctions along the way, the mother-daughter team hopes to deliver the desired results without cracking under the pressure.

In Southern California, designer/contractor Jasmine Roth transforms builder-basic homes from cookie cutter to custom. Her hands-on approach and love of design -- sparked in her youth by building treehouses, sheds and furniture with her dad -- brings out the hidden potential in each project. Jasmine creates functional, personalized layouts by knocking down walls and retrofitting spaces to meet homeowners' specific needs. She incorporates cozy touches like custom wall murals or patio swings, and spruces up exteriors with stone accents and light, bright touches.

HGTV's "Flip or Flop" franchise moves to the Lone Star State, where military veterans Andy and Ashley Williams purchase rundown properties in and around Fort Worth and transform them into modern family homes. Working around tight budgets and even tighter timelines, Andy, a real estate agent and home renovator, and his wife, designer Ashley, gut the structures save for original features that most appeal to buyers. Episodes also highlight the couple's commitment to hiring fellow veterans to assist on the projects. Andy and Ashley met while serving in the United States Armed Forces in Iraq.
