This offshoot of the popular "Extreme Couponing" series pits 12 of the best savvy shoppers from that show against one another to see who has the clipping skills to save even more money. In each half-hour episode, two couponers go head-to-head in the ultimate shopping test: a $500 budget, a 30-minute time limit, and nothing can be purchased at full price. The person with the highest percentage of savings is named the winner and gets a chance to move on to the hourlong series finale, which features the three best shoppers in a frenzied championship event for the title of Ultimate Extreme Couponer.

They share why they are so driven by finding the best deals and show the amazing ways in which they collect coupons, including one woman who sifts through dumpsters for them. Their shopping skills are first-rate as well, using those clippings to stockpile thousands of dollars in merchandise for a fraction of the cost.

"Extreme Cheapskates" profiles people who stop at nothing to spend nothing. From making reusable toilet paper and reusing dental floss to diving in garbage bins for gifts, these penny pinchers devise outrageous ways to cuts costs by any means necessary. In the half-hour episodes, viewers meet nifty-thrifty folks including Kay, who washes her clothes while she showers; Greg, who flushes his toilet just once a week; Ben, who makes his own toothpaste; Abdul, the "ultimate haggler"; and Vickie, a mother of five who refuses to spend money for a telephone, a television or even new clothes for her kids.

Going to the grocery store could be worth $20,000 for one chef in each episode of this competition series. Four chefs compete in three elimination challenges testing their culinary skills as they make their way through the store's aisles. Each challenge features a theme -- such as using only items from frozen foods -- and is judged by a rotating list of guest judges who determine which contestant is eliminated. The chef who makes it through all three challenges then has two minutes to go through the aisles collecting items on a shopping list. Each item on the list is worth $2,000 and if the chef gets every item, the $20,000 grand prize is awarded. Popular Food Network personality Guy Fieri hosts the competition.
Epic competition series "American Ninja Warrior: Ninja vs. Ninja" pits three-person athletic teams against one another on physically demanding, side-by-side obstacle courses that test endurance and speed. Hosted by comedian Matt Iseman and former NFL player Akbar Gbajabiamila, the show features even more challenging obstacles this season, incorporating speed, human agility, skill, and a whole new strategy of racing. The 16-part season of "ANW: Ninja vs. Ninja" features some of the biggest names from the prime-time "American Ninja Warrior" franchise competing together to become the ultimate champions.

Car enthusiast Mike Brewer and internationally renowned car designer Ant Anstead work together to give new life to run-down, classic automobiles in order to resell at a profit. Working with a limited budget, Mike's job is to find and purchase a vehicle before presenting it to Ant, who makes the necessary repairs -- and there usually are plenty of them -- giving tips along the way about electrical and structural issues, mechanics, cosmetic touches and finishing work. Once complete, the restored car is taken for a test drive, and then Mike negotiates the purchase price with a new owner. The series, a British import, began airing on Discovery Channel in the U.K. in 2003. Its first 13 seasons featured master mechanic Edd China as Brewer's sidekick.
