The comic/writer explores a wide range of social and cultural issues facing Americans, using satire to tackle tough topics and investigate real-world solutions. Each episode features documentary-style field reports as its focal point. The segments allow Cenac to travel to suburban, downtown and rural parts of the country, where he talks with locals about systematic problems and offers comedic solutions to everyday inconveniences. In addition, the host engages an in-studio audience with commentary on current events. Cenac is a former writer and correspondent on "The Daily Show With Jon Stewart," where he earned three Emmy Awards.

Covering pressing issues, including gender inequality, Muslims in America, political correctness, the battle over Confederate monuments and statues, and how technology is affecting humanity, Couric enlists cultural icons, experts and everyday people to help her look past the noise, politics and individual discomfort to understand complicated truths.
