"College GameDay" has been a popular college football pregame show on ESPN since 1987 and has been taking the show to college campuses across the country since 1993. Now the same concept is being used on "SEC Nation," a flagship show on ESPN-owned SEC Network. Rather than discussing games from all conferences, the show features games involving teams of the titular conference and originates at a location in SEC country. "SEC Nation" is hosted by Maria Taylor, who is joined by radio host Paul Finebaum, former players Tim Tebow and Marcus Spears, and reporter Laura Rutledge to preview the day's games.
Want to know up-to-the-minute reports about your favorite college football team? ESPN has it covered with this weekday studio show, a roundtable format that emphasizes discussion and opinions on the sport's biggest news and newsmakers. Hosted predominantly by Chris Cotter, the half-hour program features a rotating roster of analysts that includes coaches, former players, and media personalities.
Once the day's slate of college football games are complete, host Adnan Virk recaps the action and discusses its implications on the top 25. He's joined by analysts Jesse Palmer and Joey Galloway.
This Sunday pregame staple debuted in 1985 and soon became a signature ESPN series behind host Chris Berman, who was at the helm for three decades. Taking over that role is Samantha Ponder, a one-time college football reporter and contributor. She introduces the features and directs the storylines associated with the day's games, joined by a roster of analysts highlighted by ex-NFL players. Chris Mortensen and Adam Schefter deliver breaking news and injury updates, while reporters at game sites set the scenes.
