In the 1944–45 season, they won their first official title, winning the Copa México. Their first league title came in the 1982–83 season after defeating Guadalajara on penalty kicks. The team won a third Copa México on the 1987–88 season, and in the 1989–90 season, they won both titles, the Copa México and the league title after beating Leones Negros UdeG.
