Over the course of 20 weeks, 192 young competitors travel to Los Angeles from all over the country to square off in three separate age group brackets (9 and 10, 11 and 12, 13 and 14) until only one is left standing in each bracket. "American Ninja Warrior" co-hosts Matt Iseman and Akbar Gbajabiamila return to provide play-by-play commentary, along with a new co-host, gold-winning Olympic gymnast Laurie Hernandez. Joining them will be all-star ninjas, including Drew Drechsel, Meagan Martin, Najee Richardson, Barclay Stockett, Kevin Bull, and Natalie Duran, who will act as mentors for all of the junior ninjas.
