The old saying "Somebody's gotta do it" might come to mind when watching this reality series, which follows brave professionals who risk their lives to harvest snake venom. The demand for the highly toxic liquid is at an all-time high. It's used not only in the production of anti-venom to treat poisonous bites and stings but also as an integral part of cutting-edge medical research that aims to treat ailments such as diabetes, heart disease and even cancer. The snake hunters travel from the Florida swamplands and the plains of Oklahoma to the Australian Outback and the Arizona desert to catch their prey and collect the venom.
