Young, tech-savvy Dot is a true child of the 21st century -- she is well-versed in technology and has a strong curiosity and thirst for knowledge. She uses electronic devices to help her learn, create and explore, but she always makes sure to unplug and enjoy quality time with friends, family and pet dog Scratch. She explores the world and goes on adventures with her buds, including best friend Hal, and pooch to satisfy her curiosity and find out more about what goes on around her. Dot gets her passion for technology from her techie mother, who develops apps, while her father is more old-school with a love for woodworking and would rather enjoy the simple things in life than be tethered to electronics. The animated series is based on a children's book written by technology advocate Randi Zuckerberg, who calls the titular character "relatable" and says she is "that friend we all have who is energetic, adventurous and imaginative."

Hailed as "the funniest thing on Canadian television since `Kids in the Hall,' " the award-winning "Baroness Von Sketch Show" premieres to a U.S. audience courtesy of IFC. The all-female comedy series is created by and stars veteran Canadian actor Meredith MacNeill and Second City alumni Carolyn Taylor, Aurora Browne and Jennifer Whalen, who satirize modern life's everyday concerns, from the pretentiousness of ordering a fancy coffee to office and sexual politics. Other popular skits include a riff on being relegated to the over-40 section of a gym locker room, and a theory of what a women-only leadership summit would be like.
